June Blogger Round Up

June has flown by somehow and life has gotten crazy busy since we got married last month. Thank you notes, settling in from the honeymoon, jobs, traveling, dogs, the list goes on and on. We have made many changes in our lives and it's hard to fit everything in but one thing I have focused on with my blog is making those connections and friends in my niche and the industry in general. I've been learning, researching, making plans and setting goals this month. I've been making my way through the blogging network and have a few favorites I wanted to share with you all. These ladies are awesome and you will love their pages so check them out!
  • Jackie at  www.thatswhatsupblog.com  I found Jackie a few months ago while learning a few things about blogging and she immediately opened up with her knowledge and helped me so much. I've learned so much and she's been a major part of my baby success so far. Her style tips are amazing and her pics are always so bright and colorful.
  • Carly at www.riceandrepeat.com This gal has the most colorful and creative images on her Instagram and is always super creative with her healthy lifestyle. She's another great influence on me lately and is always open to hearing anything I send her way.
  • Clare at www.tullytales.com  She is basically everything mom goals and I look to her for future inspiration and she's my spirit animal with coffee. She's always stylish and has a great eye for home decor.
  • Emily at http://hemillierose.wixsite.com/perfectingemilyrose has a great eye for books and I'm always on the lookout for them. I am super picky about what I read and sometimes I get lazy trying to find a good one. She always has great suggestions and images on her page. She's another coffee lover I relate to.
  • Halie at http://sleeplessinsequins.com/ has been amazing to me from the beginning and her page is just #goals in every way. If you want amazing style, travel, and beauty check her out. She lives in NY and literally screams Carrie Bradshaw to me. I envy her daily.

These ladies are a few of my daily favorites I'm enjoying right now and I hope you guys enjoy as well! I have several trips and goodies coming to the blog this summer so stay tuned! What are your summer plans? Let me know in the comments below!
 XOXO

The Wilsons Wedding video

Hey loves! Its wedding season and I wanted to share a glimpse into our wedding day with you all. I wasn't sure about adding video into our wedding day budget in the beginning but I am so happy we did and that Scott was so persistent on it. The video really captured our love story and every little detail from that day. We will cherish this video and our day for many years to come. I'm so happy with it and I highly recommend having video if you are engaged or getting married in the near future. Its incredibly worth it and Axel was simply amazing if you are looking for anyone in Tennessee or surrounding areas. His info will be attached with the video. Hope you enjoy! Fathers Day gift guide

Father’s Day is just around the corner! Next weekend to be exact. If you're anything like myself then you are procrastinating and waiting to find that perfect gift. I usually stick to the safe gifts like a sports shirt or hat then have a few items I gravitate to naturally. I personally like the tan leather look and browns for the guys in my life but the items I'm going to mention can be in any color of your choosing.Buying for Dad can sometimes get a little tricky, so I have searched high and low for some great gift ideas and put together this comprehensive Father’s Day gift guide. I personally have several Dads in my life so I know how stressful it can be.I have included some lower and higher priced items. If you don't have time to order or shop you can always find these items locally. Many times you can find them even cheaper at places like TJ Max, Marshalls, and even Ross has great wallets and watches if you can get there before the good items are gone.

If you have the time and want something creative try etsy.com. They have so many cute personalized gifts. I purchased several of my wedding gifts from there and my Dad/Stepdad gifts.

You can always throw in some easy items like cologne, grilling items, favorite candies, a card, etc. It's the thought that counts and a card with something small will be better than nothing and will always show Dad that you care. Go with whatever works for you and your budget and style. See below my favorites with different budgets in mind.

So after I got my back from my bachelorette trip in Southbeach I thought I would share a few items with you guys for packing. This list is for any destination with a beach. We all think we are a great packer until the moment we start packing. TRUST me when I say someone always forgets something. I always make a list of everything and cross it off as I go. Usually, two days before because I like to procrastinate but I always make my list ahead of time. Don't even get started on unpacking.
